Laser Operator
Robertson are delighted to announce they are partnered up with an established engineering company based in East Goscote, Leicestershire.
The candidate will be responsible for reading from engineering drawings and laser operating on a daily basis. As a laser operator you will be working with sheet metal. Please be aware you must have at least one year of working on the lasers.
Working hours:
Rotational shifts. 06:00 - 14:00 / 14:00 - 22:00
Overtime available.
Job responsibilities
- Operate laser cutting machines to cut and shape materials according to specifications
- Reading from technical drawings
- Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work area
Job skills
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Proficient skill using a laser
- Ability to work in a manufacturing
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations
